Contrary to popular belief, Yorkies are actually hypoallergenic! They don't have an undercoat that sheds dander, making them a great choice for those with allergies.

Their hair (not fur) requires regular grooming, just like yours, and they can be styled in a variety of ways.

You can DIY or enlist the help of a professional groomer to keep your Yorkie looking and feeling their best.

Remember, puppies are babies and require guidance and supervision. When not on your lap, they need a safe space like a crate to prevent potty accidents and undesirable behaviors. Take responsibility for your puppy's training by keeping an eye on them at all times and providing a designated area for them to do their business, like a puppy pad or outdoor area.

Yorkie FAQS

Our Yorkies are valued family members. They live with us: go on trips, visit our kids, enjoy evenings watching TV, and take us on walks.

Our puppies are pampered, well cared-for, healthy, and thriving.

There are many reputable large scale breeders and many not-so reputable puppy mills who want you to think family breeding is a bad idea. It is for them. It cuts into their profits.

Typically, and in our case, family-style breeding happens because we love our dogs. Being left intact (not spayed or neutered) is healthier for your pet, and reproduction is a natural part of life. Family-style breeders generally limit the number of litters as to not physically overburden the female, whereas puppy mills are about quantity and turnover.

BTW: If you're worried about a family breeder, claim down. We're not going to cheat you or deceive you. We just love Yorkies. We offer the exact service we expect when we buy a puppy. We issue contracts and receipts to protect us from those who want to take advantage of our good nature and to offer you peace of mind that your money and personal information are safe.
